When asked “Where are you hosting your Alpha?”, select SCHOOLS (LUNCHTIME). This is the option you need to select to access the Alpha Youth Series: Schools Edition.
Once registered, you'll have access to the Schools Edition resources, including the episodes and everything you need to get Alpha Youth started in your school.

Alpha Youth is designed to create a safe environment where everyone can ask questions, share opinions and think critically about different perspectives. There is no expectation that participants already have faith, and everyone is welcome.

Instead, it creates space for young people to explore the Christian faith, ask honest questions and consider different perspectives for themselves. Participants are free to agree, disagree or simply listen. The emphasis is on respectful conversation rather than debate or persuasion.

Not at all. Alpha Youth is designed for everyone, whether someone identifies as Christian, follows another faith, or has no religious belief at all. Many young people attend simply because they're curious or enjoy discussing life's bigger questions.

Every session follows a simple format:
A fun activity to help students feel comfortable.
A short episode exploring one big question from a Christian perspective.
Small group discussion where everyone is invited to share their thoughts, ask questions or simply listen.
Students are never required to speak if they don't want to.

The videos present the Christian understanding of each topic, but discussion is intentionally open. Students are encouraged to think for themselves, ask questions and respectfully engage with different viewpoints. There are no "right answers" expected during the conversations.

We'd encourage you to attend every week so you can get the full Alpha Youth experience. However, if you do miss a session, simply ask your course leader for a link to the episode so you can catch up before the next week.

The word "Alpha" comes from the Greek alphabet, where alpha is the first letter and means "the beginning."
We call it Alpha Youth because it's designed to be the beginning of a journey, an opportunity for young people to explore life's biggest questions, discover the Christian faith and have honest conversations about life, faith and purpose.
The name has no connection to the popular "alpha male" trend or personality type. It's simply about creating a starting point for exploration.

That's completely okay. Alpha Youth welcomes different opinions and beliefs. Students are never expected to agree with the Christian perspective and are free to share their own views respectfully.
