Each year in Northern Ireland hundreds of Alpha Youth courses are run by churches of every denomination. They run on mission teams, at festivals, retreats, schools, coffee shops and in prisons. This often happens in partnership with a range of brilliant youth agencies doing fantastic work on all sides of our community.
As we move into 2018, with brand-new resources, including the Alpha Youth Series, we need a passionate, driven and fun-loving individual with a love of Alpha. They will need to inspire young people, train leaders, network extensively, love the local church and most importantly lead others to encounter Jesus.
We are looking for a digital native with previous communications and/or marketing experience to join the Europe and Middle East team. They will be primarily responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of communication and digital solutions to support the core work of Alpha’s offices across Europe and the Middle East. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a capacity to initiate and manage several projects simultaneously. They will have a natural curiosity and desire to stay on top of the latest technologies and trends. A strong cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, as well as an understanding of the church in Europe would help.
We are seeking a dynamic leader to head up Alpha across the region of Europe and the Middle East at an exciting time of change with a new CEO refining our focus on serving the global church. With a passion for equipping the church in evangelization; the ideal candidate will be proactive in building relationships with church leaders and fostering unity within the body of Christ. They will have experience of leading a team and speaking publicly to envision others.
The purpose of this role is to be a catalyst for the growth of Alpha and the Marriage Courses across EME in alignment with Alpha’s global strategy, with the goal of doubling the number of churches running Alpha by 2022. As the driving force behind Alpha EME, this role will work closely with Board Members and Directors at the highest level, as well as leaders from across Alpha International and HTB. The role is based in London with extensive travel across Europe and the Middle East.
Based in our London office, the EME Operations Manager will oversee the day to day implementation and execution of Europe and the Middle East’s operational plans to contribute towards Alpha's goal of doubling the number of churches running Alpha by 2022. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. They will enjoy working as part of a team and have experience in managing people as well as delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
This role will work closely with the EME Director to connect with Board Chairs and Directors at the highest level as well as supporting the Relationship Development Director (based in the Netherlands). The role has a focus on encouraging growth in a Catholic context across EME and involves team management and overseeing all the budgets.
Alpha UK are looking for two locally based recruits to focus on supporting the church in the Midlands and the South West of the UK. Through training and inspiring church leaders, they will help to raise up an army ofpassionate evangelists in their region. They will also be travelling around the country for events and an abundance of fun along the way. From London, we will support and help you serve the local church and most of all lead others to an encounter with Jesus.
We need a highly passionate individual excited about seeing people in their region coming to know Christ. They will be in the driving seat to develop and tailor the global vision of Alpha International in their local area.

We are looking for someone with experience working in the youth world with a knowledge of and enthusiasm for Alpha Youth to increase Alpha’s reach in a youth context across the UK. They will be expected to drive, monitor and implement a UK strategy for engagement and growth for Alpha within the youth context, identifying areas of opportunity for growth and innovation. This will involve networking and building relationships with key Alpha churches, youth groups, charities and individuals, as well as proactively connecting with existing and prospective Alpha leaders and equipping peer evangelism through Alpha.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and creative individual with excellent written and verbal communication and an eye for detail to join a dynamic team of exceptional people at Alpha. They will have at least 3 years of experience in marketing and/or communication, understand the organisation’s objectives and how to define and structure a relevant marketing strategy. Previous management is also required.
The purpose of this role is to increase and sustain the demand for Alpha across our audiences in the UK, working closely with Alpha’s global communications, digital and marketing teams. They will deliver and execute a marketing and communication strategy in the UK, pro-actively develop new initiatives for the promotion of Alpha and its products across all social channels, website, communications platforms and have an oversight over the promotion and implementation of events and product launches.
They will also ensure churches are aware of and able to access all the resources needed to run Alpha, this role is also responsible for end-to-end management of the Annual Invitation campaign including contextualisation and roll out.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance for the day-to-day work of the Alpha UK team as well as to support the wider events, projects and tasks of the team.
They will need to be confident at spanning multiple projects at one time and being the go to person for all queries in the office. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel will be necessary, as well as your written and verbal communication skills.
The role will be expected to keep abreast of the running expenses and finances, updating all relevant spreadsheets. You will be the main point of contact for raising purchase orders, staff expenses and petty cash, as well as booking all the staff travel and accommodation. An understanding of social media and communication would also be helpful. Above all they will need to be proactive, comfortable at working in a fast-paced environment and ready for new challenges and opportunities within Alpha.
