Why Prayer? Prayer is at the heart of Alpha. When we partner with God through prayer, anything is possible.
Thanks so much for participating with Alpha Prayer Live this year. Continue to join us in prayer for the work of Alpha and its mission to equip the local church, to invite people to explore the Christian faith.
We would love to encourage you to continue to pray for UK churches and communities as a new season of Alpha is launched.
Download our prayer pack for free below to join with us in praying together with the same purpose – to see more people come to know Jesus.
Re-visit Alpha Prayer Live 2016
Last September, people from over 190 locations across the world joined us for Alpha Prayer Live, streamed live online from Holy Trinity Brompton. Watch the playback to be inspired as you prepare for this year’s week of prayer.
Run Alpha is a training event designed to equip individuals with practical insight to run Alpha better, no matter which stage of the journey they are at. Gathering leaders from across Europe, the conference will unpack the theology of evangelism, how Alpha fits as a tool and then commissioning delegates to go out and share their faith. Including three keynote speakers, worship from One Hope Project and HTB Worship alongside 20 contributors who will share their experience, stories and tips of running Alpha, RA17 is going to be significant.
- As we lead up to the event please pray for the 25 individuals preparing content, that they would receive direction and clarity on what they should share.
- Please pray for the Alpha UK team as they plan and prepare for the event in the coming weeks.
- Please pray for the delegates who have already booked on and those who are still to do so, that they would arrive expectant and thirsty to delve into scripture, worship and collaborate with those they meet.
Prayers from the past
History tells us that whenever we pray, God moves. We’ve seen revival break out across the UK before - through prayer, we’re expectant for more of this.
Be energised by stories of revival from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
